Swan Technology Consulting was founded in 2018 by Dian and Geraldine Swanepoel with a vision to pool their combined digital knowledge to offer technology advice and solutions to businesses. The business grew with the addition of freelance team members and we have built a network of skilled professionals with whom we often approach more complex projects.

While our services are focused on two core competencies - digital marketing and web development - our team’s combined skillset enables us to offer our clients the full range of services needed to get their business up and running on the web. We pride ourselves on our innovation, our quality and attention to detail, and our dedication to our clients.

We aim to help our clients understand their own needs and the technical requirements to meet those needs in plain language, without the jargon that confuses people. We have decades of wide and varied technology experience, and are always researching and evolving, so feel free to ask us about anything IT related! Discovery

First we meet with our client (you!) for a chat over coffee (or tea?) to get an idea of your requirements. This may take the form of a virtual chat by phone or computer if we’re not able to meet physically. It is important that we understand what your business goals are and the services that you need to attain them.

If we both think it would be a good fit, this results in a proposal with recommendations for your consideration. Website and software development are finite products, while digital marketing and managed hosting are part of an ongoing relationship.

Delivery

Once an agreement is reached and a deposit is paid, we begin our work. Our process is agile, so you are involved in the process from the start so that you can be confident that you are in control of the end product, whether that is a website, software or a marketing strategy.

Typically with development, once the final product is delivered and paid for, you have a grace period for final testing. For ongoing monthly work, payment is generally charged up front and we have monthly check-ins with you.

We’re proud of the fact that all our clients with applicable requirements become long-term clients with repeat work for us.
